Nanotechnology

StableHeat uses nanoparticles which heat up as isolated cells when electrically charged. These particles are evenly embedded in a unique, light conductive polymer blend and, when heated, expand to reduce the conductive pathways between the isolated cells. The result: less current is needed to produce the same amount of heat.

Self-Regulating

The heating elements collectively act like a floor sensor, supplying more wattage under colder temps and less as they warm. The radiant heating elements are flat and cover a large surface. This unique self-regulating technology enables the heating element to maintain an even temperature and prevents overheating.

Multifaceted

StableHeat can be used behind (or in concert with) most floor, wall, roofing, railing, and other surface types, including wood, laminate, carpet, tile, stone, and drywall. The heating elements are produced in rolls and come in different widths. This and the element’s ultra-thin (1.2mm) profile make it easy to cut to desired lengths on-site.

The low voltage current is delivered to the element through two tinned copper busbraids, which charge the nano particles with electricity for a safe heating environment. StableHeat’s heating elements are protected by a water-resistant insulation and can be placed in showers, garages, basements, or in concrete. The extension wires are Marine-grade tinned copper wire, which allows the system to withstand any level of moisture.
